To date there are studies on psychological well-being, however the problem of men's attitude toward psychological help still not investigated enough. In the Russian science this problem has not been examined at all. This article first presents the results of the research of the men's attitude to- 163 ward psychological help on the Russian sample. To reach the purposes of the study, the total sample (N = 271, aged 18 to 63, Median = 26, SD = 9) was divided into the main sample of men (N = 148, aged 19 to 63, Median = 30, SD = 9) and into the control sample of women (N = 123, aged 18 to 62, Median = 24, SD = 8). With the aid of the scale of attitude toward psychotherapy was revealed a significant (p = .000) difference between the men's attitude toward psychotherapy (51.96) and women's attitude (59.14) by comparison the means of the t-Student's test. Correlations of the men's attitude to psychotherapy with masculinity, femininity and fully functioning (according to C. Rogers) also were investigated. Additionally, with the help of the t-Student's test, the correlations of the mean values of attitude toward psychotherapy, masculinity and femininity were analyzed in the presence and absence of experience of psychological help-seeking. The analysis of the obtained results allows to state that the men’s attitude to psychotherapy is a complex multifaceted phenomenon. Its study is relevant and requires using of well-thought-out and sensitive methods.
