Ревизия НАФТА: риски для экономики Мексики
More than twenty years of operation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has had a positive impact on the economic development of Mexico. The latter resulted in a significant increase in the mutual trade of participating countries, primarily with the United States, and also contributed to the growth of direct US investment in the Mexican economy, which stimulated the process of its diversification, as well as increased employment of the population. As for the negative consequences of the economic integration of the countries of North America for Mexico, it is necessary to highlight its excessive orientation to the US markets, which in the case of denunciation of NAFTA threatens this Latin American country with unpredictable consequences.
