Scientific psychology in Russia began to organize in the middle of the 19th century. Specifically, in 1863, after a long break, philosophy education resumed in Russian universities, leading to research in the fields of psychology and logic. At that time, the development of psychological ideas in Russia was heavily influenced by fiction, with the result that many researchers believe that Russian literature (Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Turgenev, Chekhov, and others) was the most influential Russian philosophy and psychology of the 19th century. However, in the 1870s, an independent Russian psychology began to form in connection with the development of national scientific thought and, importantly, the development of reflection on scientific and psychological features of Russian identity. у
