Лексические особенности немецких научных текстов первой половины XIV в. (на примере Mainauer Naturlehre и Das Buch der Natur)

The article considers main stylistic features of German scientific texts of the first half of the 14th century. It analyzes lexical means (terms, clichés, and connectors) which are called to make a text objective and formal what is typical of scientific writing. It assumes that in this period scientific style was heterogeneous to a marked degree and differed from the style of both earlier and later works.
