Dieser Beitrag geht der Frage nach, wie wissenschaftliche
Evidenz in Abstimmungserläuterungen verwendet wird und ob die in Abstimmungserläuterungen
verwendete wissenschaftliche Evidenz vom Mediendiskurs aufgegriffen wird.
Die vorliegende Analyse von Abstimmungserläuterungen und Zeitungsberichterstattung
aus den Bereichen Gesundheit und Volksschule zeigt, dass rund ein Viertel der Abstimmungserläuterungen
auf wissenschaftliche Evidenz verweist und darin Evidenz politisch und nicht
neutral verwendet wird. In der Zeitungsberichterstattung wird die in Abstimmungserläuterungen
verwendete wissenschaftliche Evidenz aufgenommen und durch zusätzliche
Evidenz ergänzt.
