The first section of the chapter reveals the main concepts of the topic. Existing approaches to understanding the sources of law are considered. The ratio of the concepts "source" and "form" of law is given. The types of sources of law are examined and the legal families in which they are distributed are indicated. For the first time in the literal literature on the theory of law, such sources of law as parliamentary customs are considered.
