Мотивационный компонент в обучении французскому языку в вузе (на примере урока «язык СМИ»)
This paper explores the component of motivation for French language learning process by students at universities. It focuses on foreign language teaching for professional goals, i.e. for students within the field “journalism” in a context of a specific lesson «Mass media language». The author shows in details how the motivation component becomes a part of the French languages teaching process, implying under the terra «raotivation» the aspiration of students for education and a goal-oriented activity. The author raodels an exaraple of a lesson «Mass raedia language» for futurejoumalists. It includes learning of techniques for reading French press raaterials and specific exercises for content searching and evaluation of articles (forecasting of the articles content, text transformation, front-page profile editing, and determination of the types of articles/headlines in specific newspapers). The presented educational model incorporates the latest requirements for higher and professional education in a growing competitive environment on the labor market. The professional community can explore specific issues related to French language teaching for professional goals, which focus on motivation as a key component for teaching the foreign language to students to significantly increase their mastering rate. Upon completion of the tasks set on the lesson «Mass medialanguage» the students acquire specific terminology, and new grammatical, phonetic and lexical content. This will contribute to the development of foreign languages communication competencies for future graduates, which is essential for their successful career planning in future.
