P. 491–492.
Our current study investigates the role of the place of living (rural and urban society) and
its social-cultural context in determining the parent-adolescent child value similarity. To determine it,
we interviewed representatives of two generations: parents and children from 91 families in Moscow
and 62 families in villages (n = 306 people). Our findings indicate both similarities and differences in
values of adolescents and their parents in urban and rural area.
