We consider the interaction of two solitary waves in the modified Benjamin–Bona–Mahony
(mBBM) equation in a regime where a small parameter measures the departure from the classical
modified Korteweg–de Vries (mKdV) equation. A regular perturbation method is used to
analyze the modification of the two-soliton wave field induced by the weak non-integrability of
the mBBM equation. We show that, ...

Th e article examines the relationship between the age-related dynamics of creativity and the potential of the orange (creative) economy in Russian regions. Drawing on contemporary psychological and neurocognitive research, the authors demonstrate that diff erent components of creative thinking—fl uency, fl exibility, originality, and semantic depth—follow distinct age-related patterns. Early adulthood (18–35 years) is ...

The article provides a brief overview of contemporary concepts and research on perfectionism. The dual nature of perfectionism, encompassing both adaptive and maladaptive characteristics, is reflected in the evolution of its conceptualization: from early unidimensional approaches that viewed perfectionism primarily as a symptom of psychopathology to multidimensional models that extend its understanding beyond personal standards ...

Maintaining plant health is crucial for crop quality, food security, and agricultural productivity. Although deep learning methods have shown strong potential for species, disease, and severity classification, most existing approaches tackle these tasks separately, failing to exploit shared representations and interdependencies among them. Furthermore, the variability of disease symptoms, such as subtle differences in size, ...

Venezuela is widely regarded as one of the most politically divided nations in Latin America. However, the mechanisms through which political polarisation facilitated the emergence of authoritarian rule under Hugo Chávez and later Nicolás Maduro remain insufficiently specified. This article develops an account of polarisation-driven autocratisation in Venezuela and examines how elite and mass polarisation ...

In the circular restricted three-body problem, families of periodic and quasi-periodic orbits exist in the vicinity of the libration points and are of significant interest for practical applications. This work presents a neural network-based algorithm for orbit construction and station-keeping, applicable to both periodic and quasi-periodic orbits near collinear libration points. The method employs a ...

This paper analyses China’s strategic narrative on refugee migration. Through a qualitative analysis of 54 statements delivered by Chinese diplomats at the United Nations between 2000 and 2024, it identifies core narrative elements, such as problem definition, causal attribution, actor positioning and proposed solutions, and connections between them. The findings show that China problematises refugee ...

Background
Predicted brain age is a widely used neuroimaging biomarker of brain maturation. However, limited normative pediatric datasets in model training raise concerns about systematic biases when applied to children. This study evaluates the hypothesis of predicted brain age overestimation in typically developing pediatric populations.
Objective
To analyze predicted brain age and brain delta in a large, age- ...

We develop a new three-party quantum secret-sharing (QSS) protocol based on a three-qubit W state. This protocol encodes the secret-sequence bits using X gates and employs randomly selected Hadamard operations and measurement bases to generate information and security-test rounds. We evaluate the efficiency of the proposed protocol and analyze its security against an internal adversary ...

When data are incomplete, standard fuzzy data mining methods face an unacceptable trade-off: deleting objects with missing values loses up to a third of the sample and introduces systematic bias under the MAR mechanism, while mean imputation destroys the covariance structure and produces rules with artificially inflated support.
