The analysis of the essence and the subject of computer archeography allows the author to determine its status as an interdisciplinary knowledge. The main purpose of computer archeography is extensive practice publications in the Internet and creating computer search tools and electronic finding aids. The prepare scientific electronic edition of archival documents should be a several basic phase.
