Грамматика письменной речи: конфликт предписания и узуса
Written student works reflect timely tendencies in contemporary Russian both on the levels of grammar and vocabulary. The tendencies include redundancy (e. g. tautology, lexical pleonasms, syntactic repetitions of different types) and insufficiency (unintentional ellipsis, aposiopesis leading to misunderstanding, logical and grammatical gaps). Deleting an obligatory dependent component of a verb or a verbal name, unmotivated deleting of subject or predicate and their actants, lack of important speech act parts are among typical features of these texts. A variety of such speech errors, mistakes and faults has become frequent and is not already perceived by writing people as something that breaks the norm: on the contrary, it claims to become a new tendency in contemporary written speech.
