Причины снижения популярности и перспективы развития информационного телевещания

The author's interest is focused on the study of global trends in the development of information television broadcasting. Against the background of the widespread use of Internet news portals, there is a progressive decrease in viewer interest in linear television linked to the program layout. The majority of the TV audience is currently made up of older people, while younger viewers are rejecting television-browsing, preferring to find out information about current events from the global network. Under the current conditions, traditional program television is trying to offer consumers media products of new formats, to find a justification for their own existence in rapidly changing conditions. The purpose of the conference is to present the results of research on viewer preferences, to initiate a discussion on one of the most controversial issues in the development of modern media: what will television broadcasting look like in 15-20 years.
