Факторы инвестиционной привлекательности российских регионов
The regions of the Russian Federation are characterized by a high degree of variation in their socioeconomic development indicators. Differences in business conditions, the availability of natural resources, and infrastructure account for the uneven distribution of investment across regions. In this regard, it is particularly interesting to examine the factors that enhance a region’s attractiveness to investors. This article analyzes the concepts of «regional investment attractiveness», «regional investment climate», and «regional investment potential». Six groups of factors influencing regional investment attractiveness are identified: economic, sociocultural, political (including the quality of public administration), technological and innovative, natural, and factors shaping the region’s image. The study identifies the distinctive features of the investment attractiveness of Russian regions. The findings may be of interest to economists, government officials, business representatives, and all specialists involved in regional development and investment policy.
