The General Section examines the theory of private international law, including its concept, subject matter, system, method, and sources. It focuses on conflict of laws issues and the specifics of law enforcement in private international law, as well as on the study of national legislation of foreign countries and international treaties in the field of private international law. All theoretical constructs are illustrated with examples from judicial practice, statutory provisions, and international legal acts.
