ETHICS-2025 is a direct expression of SSIT’s mission: to enhance awareness and understanding of technology’s complex relationship with society. By bringing together a global and interdisciplinary community, this conference creates a space for critical engagement with the ethical and societal dimensions of emerging technologies. It brings together diverse voices from engineering, the sciences, the humanities, government, industry, and civil society. It is precisely this diversity—of disciplines, perspectives, and lived experiences—that gives the conference its strength and relevance.
