Russia's return to great power status poses new challenges for the Russian community of researchers studying international information processes. Among them is tracking trends at the global level. The purpose of this article is to use large data sets to demonstrate how the overall focus of publications mentioning Russia has changed online in 2022–2024 and in the English-language zone of the internet from January 2024 to March 2025.
This study analyzed journalistic news and analytical texts, as well as press releases, legal documents, statistical publications, corporate and industry reports, and more.
