Так кто же побеждает в дебатах о Боге?
The monograph by V.V. Sleptsova is dedicated to the debates on the existence of God among contemporary analytic philosophers — both theists and atheists. This book has a number of merits. It offers an impressive collection of various arguments and counterarguments from both sides, is written in accessible language, and maintains a critical stance towards both theistic and atheistic reasoning. The author addresses methodological issues related to what constitutes a good argument and whether we can assess the truth of theistic and atheistic argument. In this review, I identify and explain in detail one significant limitation. My concern is that theism in the monograph appears overly homogeneous, whereas contemporary theists have at least two different traditions of thinking about God: theistic personalism and classical theism. Finally, I present my critical observations on the author's reflections on theistic and atheistic arguments in general. Nevertheless V.V. Sleptsova's monograph is undoubtedly valuable for both novice and professional philosophers.
