Самообеспечение солнечной энергией домохозяйств в США и Китае
The priorities of using solar panels on the roofs of residential buildings are examined in the context of the debate between solar and gas generation. The presented generation costs are compared, taking into account all expences that reflect the economic and environmental feasibility of the decision from the perspective of household financial behavior. The article substantiates the need to take into account the economic cost of premature deaths caused by CO2 emissions, healthcare expenditures, and CO2 emission taxes. A system of inequalities is proposed to facilitate the use of securitization in solar electricity production, aiming to reduce the cost of household financing. The results
of generation comparability calculations based on data from the U.S. electric power sector for 2023 are presented.
