The article analyzes the level of publication activity in the field of industrial robotics worldwide. The digital technologies' rapid development influences on the software and hardware complex of industrial robots, providing in leading economies the expansion of their application and an increase in the level of industrial robotization. The Russian industrial robot market is characterized by high import dependence and a shortage of domestic technologies, which limit the possibilities of robotization of production. Since 2025, there will be new measures of supporting production and stimulating demand in the domestic market in Russia. However, the development of industrial robotics also requires results in the science field.In Russia the level of scientific cooperation with foreign countries is assessed Based on data on scientific publications. In the new conditions, considering the predominance of European Union countries among the partners, recommendations for expanding cooperation with BRICS+ countries are developed.
