Выявления логики в мышлении клиента с депрессивным расстройством в рамках когнитивно-поведенческой терапии
The article substantiates the need and benefit of identifying logic in the thinking of a client with depressive symptoms within the framework of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The author notes that one of the central tenets of the theory of CBT, developed by Aaron Beck, is the idea that people’s emotions and behavior are determined by their thoughts, and not by events or situations. Special attention is paid to working with the client’s automatic thoughts, which may contain cognitive distortions. The author justifies the differences between logical error, errors in reasoning and cognitive distortion, provides examples demonstrating how the reconstruction of the syllogistic structure of the client’s automatic thoughts helps to identify logical errors and cognitive distortions underlying depressive thinking patterns. Thus, identifying the logic in the client’s thinking is an important therapeutic task in the practice of CBT.
