Анти(мета)верлибр: рождение верлибра из духа его неприятия
The article focuses on the history of "anti(meta)verlibres" in the Russian poetry of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century - of free verses written to demonstrate the simulative or secondary nature of the free verse as a genre form, in order to mock or to discredit it in a parodic way. The works of various amateur authors, to whom literature is simultaneously their academic subject or one of their occupation, as well as the works of "professional", "conventional" poets like K. Simonov, A. Kabanov, G. Vlasov, B. Grinberg, D. Davydov and G. Lukomnikov are used as the material for analysis. Both the adepts and the convinced opponents of the free verse get very close in this case in one aspect - their use of the free verse in the literary polemics. At the same time, however even the negation of the free verse by demonstrating its speculative nature leads to its affirmation, as well as to the detection of the structural features and expressive potential of this genre form.
