The paper is devoted to the comparison of the constitutional institute of Head of State in the BRICS countries. This comparison is relevant and appropriate in view of the significance of the Heads of State for a functioning of BRICS. Along with differences and peculiarities, many similarities are noticed in the status of Heads of State (in the order of assumption of presidency and of termination of authority, in powers and responsibility, in relationships with other bodies and authorities).
