Перцептивные характеристики и фактор знакомости стимула в зрительном поиске элементов интерфейса
The study investigated the role of perceptual characteristics and the familiarity factor in the detection of a stimulus in visual search of interface elements. The “share” icons such as “Three dots” and “Outgoing tray” were used as the most used and most controversial among design practitioners. In the course of the quasi-experiment, users of various platforms (Android and iOS) had to search for a target stimulus (one or two) among distractors. The reaction time and the accuracy of finding the target stimuli were recorded. The influence of familiarity of the stimulus on the efficiency
of solving the problem of visual search was found, consistent with the effects from previous studies. The results obtained are discussed in the context of the feature integration theory and the Gestalt theory of perception. The prospects for furtherresearch and the area of practical application of the results are outlined.
