Кино в преподавании межкультурной коммуникации
The article is devoted to the matters of screen versions of a literary text usage in teaching of Intercultural communication. For the analysis “War and Peace” by Leo Tolstoy is chosen as a “precedental text”of the Russian literature (the text that contains the key concepts of the national world view). The core of the article is constituted by the comparative analysis of the novel and its three screen versions: by Sergey Bondarchuk, King Vidor and John Davis. The special stress is put on the characters of Andrei and Pierre as they are interpreted by the Soviet, American and British filmmaker. In the process of analysing the transformations occurred in the film adaptations are pin-pointed and their reasons provoked by the difference in national values are explained.
