Leadership is presented as an interdisciplinary and applied branch of knowledge that studies various aspects of this phenomenon in the context of society and culture, organization, and personal development. The approaches to understanding leadership and management are disclosed, classical and modern theories of leadership, issues of global and female leadership, the interaction of a leader and followers, the relationship of power and influence, the personality and competencies of a modern leader are examined. Each chapter of the textbook is accompanied by a workshop: questions for self-examination, tasks for group discussion and individual reflection, examples from the life of business leaders. Homework topics, glossary are suggested. It complies with the current requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education.
