Tutorial "Introduction to the basics of the art of the Aegean World" is a continuation of a series of textbooks on the history of the art of antiquity. The manual focuses on key periods, the arts of Crete and Mycenae and their stylistic features, and identifies the relationship between the formal-shaped structure of the work and the priority value orientations has created its culture. Isolation of the material dedicated to the art of the Aegean world, in a separate edition justified the need to focus students' attention on the specifics of the genesis and evolution of these civilizations. A summary of the main stages of the art of Crete and Mycenaean Greece accompanied by a representative illustration of extortion, which allows to acquaint the reader with the stylistic features of the main types of art, as well as to reveal and explain the most important laws of artistic processes in these civilizations of the ancient world. The purpose of this manual (in whole entire series devoted to the basics of the art of antiquity) - to teach students to work with the information, primarily visual, to help develop the ability to determine the stylistic features of each of the sites studied art stages of the Aegean world.
