The purpose of this article is a studying the legal aspects of such an innovative phenomenon as the creation of a digital twin of a person using computer technology for training a neural network. The methodology of this work is the legal analysis of those scientific and technical phenomena that take part in this methodology. We give a detailed analysis of reproduction, copy, replica, and communicative style concepts; and the institution of exclusive rights in the context of the digital replication of a person. The scientific novelty of the work concludes in recognition of a person as the author of his personality, promotion, and justification of the exclusive right of the individual to copy himself. In addition, the scientific novelty lies in the developed legal mechanism for ensuring and implementing this right, constructed from two legal novels. The practical significance of the study is the construction of a system of civil law norms protecting human rights from unlawful encroachments associated with the possibilities of computer replication of the individual.
