In the article, the authors analyze the phenomenon of inflation in the eurozone countries in the period from January 2021 to April 2022. The hypothesis is put forward, which is confirmed by the constructed two–factor model, that the key factors stimulating inflation are prices for energy raw materials. For this reason, it is proposed to use the tools of economic diplomacy in the framework of an energy dialogue with Russia to regulate inflation.
