Transition of Russia from raw material economy to innovation model of development requires revision of approaches to building national and regional innovation systems. Greate achievement of developed contries in sphere of innovation systems bulding is creating of regional innovation clusters. This article describes model of regional innovation cluster with national research university as a core. In addition the expirience of Higher School of Economics Nizhny Novgorod branch is presented.
Developing academic skills is a major purpose of foreign language studies. Reading skills are prior to raising language competence. Mastering different kinds of reading (skimming, reading for gist, scanning, reading for detail) leads to a general increase of language skills. The teacher's task is to train students to know what to learn and how to learn it. The article covers modern approaches to teaching reading skills.

The paper is focused on the study of reaction of italian literature critics on the publication of the Boris Pasternak's novel "Doctor Jivago". The analysys of the book ""Doctor Jivago", Pasternak, 1958, Italy" (published in Russian language in "Reka vremen", 2012, in Moscow) is given. The papers of italian writers, critics and historians of literature, who reacted immediately upon the publication of the novel (A. Moravia, I. Calvino, F.Fortini, C. Cassola, C. Salinari ecc.) are studied and analised.
In the article the patterns of the realization of emotional utterances in dialogic and monologic speech are described. The author pays special attention to the characteristic features of the speech of a speaker feeling psychic tension and to the compositional-pragmatic peculiarities of dialogic and monologic text.
