In the article I considered the genesis of system sciences such as Tectology, Cybernetics and General System Theory. I generalized its contribution to the formation of modern science synergetic paradigm. I made the conclusion that the synergetic methodology is practically not used in due diligence despite the penetration of synergetic ideas into strategic management. I proposed the directions of using synergetics theoretical and methodological tools for the purposes of valuing and managing the achievement of mergers and acquisitions synergy.
