On the initiative of the Moscow City Tourism Committee “The City of Discoveries” project was developed – to develop edu¬cational tourism for schoolchildren from Russian regions in Moscow as a living and developing megalopolis. This project is starting in a pilot mode at the end of 2019. The article presents the methodol¬ogy of the educational tourism, which was created as a basis of “The city of discovery” project. The methodology bases on the analysis of the international and Russian practice of educational travelling with schoolchildren, that are built on the activity basis sub¬ject to age and psychological feature of teenagers and youth. The presented material can be used with other projects and tourism development programs.
