Женщины и женское в эстетике Третьего рейха: анализ подборки журналов NS-Frauen-Warte за 1941 год
Propaganda plays the key role in ISIS recruitment and sustainment of its base. It is critical to understand the inner workings of ISIS mindset. Ideological aspects that have major propagandist aspects have equal validity as military strength in understanding ISIS. Recruitment to ISIS and sustainment of its core base, have powerful ideological underpinnings. Islamic eschatological concepts play an important role in understanding how ISIS functions and claims successes. Why does ISIS continue to be attractive for large groups of people from a variety of countries and regions? Islamic eschatology is a key lens through which to examine both the concepts and the practical operations of ISIS, and therefore understand ways to challenge this major threat. The propagandist aspects have to be countered in sophisticated and carefully orchestrated ways to undermine the very essence of ISISS ideology and modus operandi. The paper has been adapted for professional reading of field operatives.
A woman’s body becomes a site of alarming attention and anxiety in modern Western culture. The preoccupation with the body seriously affects women’s psychological well-being and self-esteem, health and health related behaviours, relationships with others, and career. This article focuses onthe social influences on body perception and women’s individual lives. It reveals the complexity of a human body and women’s personal activity addressed to their bodies, and containsthe results of qualitative hermeneutical research of influential bodily sociocultural tendencies and women’s attitudes towards their bodies in modern Western culture.
Research on empathy, altruism, and cooperation is one of the highest priorities in the fields of social anthropology, psychology, and evolutionary sciences around the world. The goal of this article is to assess the level of empathy of Russian students towards people with disabilities. For this purpose, we measured respondents’ levels of anxiety and aggression, assessed the correlation of these characteris- tics with empathy, determined the degree of their change under the influence of stress (sensitivity to stress). Also, we used the 2D:4D ratio as a biomarker of prenatal androgenization. The outcome of this study shows that human behavior is determined by a complex of interrelated social (cultural) and biological factors. Femininity (as a reflection of prenatal oestrogenization of the brain) is a predictor of higher levels of empathy and cooperation and more pronounced reactions to stressful stimuli, re- gardless of environmental factors.

The article is based on the annual Perm All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Artificial intelligence in solving urgent social and economic problems of the XXI century" (http://www.permai.ru/files/26.05.2018.pdf). It is also a brief overview of the results of the Perm branch of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the methodology of artificial intelli- gence, as well as several departments of the Perm state University, Perm state humanitarian pedagogi- cal University, National research University Higher school of Economics, Perm state medical University. The review covers the works that develop and apply the methods of artificial intelligence in the classical sense, i.e., those methods that simulate human intellectual activity by simulating natural mechanisms.
These are expert systems, genetic algorithms, neural networks, fuzzy mathematics. The scientific priori- ty of Perm scientists in the development of theoretical foundations and practical applications of artificial intelligence is emphasized.

The paper discusses the phenomenon of nostalgia for the USSR which is widely spread among Russian rural settlers from various regions. The focus of analysis is biased by taking in the consideration specialties of the media consumption common to villagers. The satellite TV which came to Russian village in 21th century enhances nostalgia for the USSR because of the emergency of Soviet films transmitting. The basis of the research is formed by five expeditions conducted in villages of Kostroma region (2012), Rostov-on-Don region (2013), Republic of Tatarstan (2014), Irkutsk region (2014) and Tambov region (2018). The results of semi-structured indepth interviews with 240 villagers correlate with analysis of the television content which interviewees watch. The authors show that permanent transmitting of Soviet films on popular among rural settlers TV-channels sustains nostalgia for the USSR and constructs the ideal image of the USSR. “Generalized elsewhere” of the USSR as it could be interpreted in media ecology tradition appears to be paradise. Paradise of the USSR is not lost but it is immortalized on TV screen which shows the world of fairy tale where nothing dies.
