ЭМОЦИОНАЛЬНЫЙ ИНТЕЛЛЕКТ СТУДЕНТОВ – HR-МЕНЕДЖЕРОВ
Introduction: Emotional intelligence is one of the key abilities of the modern managers and HR managers. In this study we assess the level of emotional intelligence among students studying Human Resources Management at HSE in Nizhny Novgorod. The study involved 78 students: 56 people (71.79% of the total sample) were undergraduate students and 22 people (28.21% of the total sample) were master level students. Materials and methods: To measure the level of emotional intelligence we used the Test of emotional intelligence, developed by Professor E.A.Sergienko and E. A. Hlevnaya on the basis of the theoretical model of emotional intelligence as the ability of Mayer, J.D., Salovey, P. and Caruso, D.R. Results: According to the results, the average values of general emotional intelligence and the main scales of emotional intelligence are at the level of competence. The highest rate is observed on the scale of the Emotion Management (M=102.46). Lower indicators characterize the scale of the Use of emotions (M=95,61). 64.10% of the respondents are characterized by an average level of the development of the ability to understand and rule emotions; 56.41% of students have a high level of development of the ability to perceive, identify their emotions and emotions of the others; 38.46% have a low level of development of the ability to use emotions to solve problems. The growth of indicators of emotional intelligence from Bachelor to Master Degree in all branches of emotional intelligence is noted. Discussion and Conclusions: This article is largely a statement of the problem of emotional intelligent research and development of - HR-management students in terms of their professional training, development the professional competencies.

The papers are submitted by 36 researchers from 16 countries of the world: PR China, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, India, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Macedonia, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, United Kingdom, USA.
The first objective of cognitonics (or the science about the human being in the digital world) is to explicate numerous distortions in the perception of the world caused by the information society and globalization. The second, principal objective of cognitonics is to cope with these distortions in different fields by means of elaborating systemic solutions for compensating the negative implications of the kind for the personality and society, in particular, for creating cognitive-cultural preconditions of the harmonic development of the personality in the information society and smart society and for ensuring the successful development of national cultures and national languages.
The papers describe numerous aspects and preconditions of successful personal and professional development of the human being in modern information society transforming into knowledge society (or smart society).
The aim of the study was to find out the extent of universality of perception of the emotional tone of information for three types of stimulus material: human behavior, music, and non-musical auditory stimuli. A distinction between two aspects of emotional tone perception was proposed: accuracy of evaluation of its modality and sensitivity to its intensity. Methods to measure these two aspects were developed for three types of stimulus material. The hypothesis was proposed that sensitivity is more universal, whereas intensity is more specific regarding the type of stimuli. Empirical evidence in support of the hypothesis was found.
Employment Relations is widely taught in business schools around the world. However, an increasing emphasis is being placed on the comparative and international dimensions of the relationships between employers and workers. It is becoming crucial to consider today’s work and employment issues alongside the dynamics between global financial and product markets, global production chains, national and international employment actors and institutions, and the ways in which these relationships play out in different national contexts.
Comparative Employment Relations in the Global Economy addresses this need by presenting a cross-section of country studies – including the UK, Germany, USA, Brazil, India, Russia, China and South Africa – alongside integrative thematic chapters covering essential topics such as theoretical approaches, collective representation and employment regulation.
This volume contains country studies of the historical development of human resource management (HRM) in seventeen different nations. The nations span all regions of the world and each chapter is written by a national expert. Primary attention is given to HRM developments in industry, but university research and teaching are also covered. Human resource management is defined broadly to include industrial relations and each chapter places the historical development of HRM in a broad political, social, and economic context.
The author of the article puts forward the hypothesis about importance of the psychological contract for the modern Russian organizations. In his opinion, the role of private mutual relations between workers and employers is essentially underestimated. At the same time the psychological contract influences imperious relations in the organizations caused by the formal rights and duties of heads and subordinates, the psychological climate and, finally, productivity of its activity. The investment approach to management of the human resources, caused by necessity to invest means in development of employees and increase in degree of their involvement into achievement of the purposes of the organization is also of great value.
The article is devoted to the 80th anniversary of the prominent psychologist and educator - V. V. Davydov, who (together with D. B. Elkonin) has developed psychological base and pedagogical practices of the developing education. The main focus of the elaborated program was the development of theoretical thinking and the formation of readiness to thought and the ability for conceptual thought among school children. The article is an attempt to apply conceptualizations developed by V.V. Davydov to the analysis of thinking as such.The greatest attention is given to reflection and intuition.
Smoking is a problem, bringing signifi cant social and economic costs to Russiansociety. However, ratifi cation of the World health organization Framework conventionon tobacco control makes it possible to improve Russian legislation accordingto the international standards. So, I describe some measures that should be taken bythe Russian authorities in the nearest future, and I examine their effi ciency. By studyingthe international evidence I analyze the impact of the smoke-free areas, advertisementand sponsorship bans, tax increases, etc. on the prevalence of smoking, cigaretteconsumption and some other indicators. I also investigate the obstacles confrontingthe Russian authorities when they introduce new policy measures and the public attitudetowards these measures. I conclude that there is a number of easy-to-implementanti-smoking activities that need no fi nancial resources but only a political will.
One of the most important indicators of company's success is the increase of its value. The article investigates traditional methods of company's value assessment and the evidence that the application of these methods is incorrect in the new stage of economy. So it is necessary to create a new method of valuation based on the new main sources of company's success that is its intellectual capital.
