О первичной и вторичной номинации человека посредством цветообозначений (на материале немецкого языка)

 The article deals with color as one of the most relevant characteristics of people, which differ them from all other subjects and substances. Color nomination and characteristic of a person in the German language are realized with the help of the very well-developed and far-reaching color system. It is significant to note that color names play their part not only in the objective description of a human appearance, but also in the reproduction of physical, psychic, moral and other features of a person. So, in the anthropocentric sphere color names are in the regular use both in the direct (primary) meaning and in the figurative (second) meaning, and contain prerequisites for the translation of various aesthetic values – of the beautiful, good, sublime, macabre, tragic. Figurative-expressive linguistic means (metaphor, allegory, simile), which are implicated in language symbolism, are of primary importance for creating various images. Colors are often reviewed as symbols, that represent abstract content in concrete-figural form and show personal qualities of people. As a consequence of changing the word meaning, many new lexical-semantic variants, that contain affective evaluation of human characters, develop on the basis of the invariant meaning of color names which is a reference to objective color qualities of a person.
