Эконометрический анализ факторов внутренней миграции в России

Региональные исследования. 2015. Т. 50. № 4. С. 83-98.

In this paper we model internal migration in Russia and identify the most important factors. Using the official data from Rosstat for the period from 1999 to 2010 we estimate a model of migration on the panel data of Russia’s regions. We consider different factors, i.e. demographic, labor market, housing, quality of life, public goods provision, and regional budget expenditures. Comparing the sensitivity of migration between the economic determinants and social/political, we show that the demographic and economic determinants (housing provision and income per capita) have a higher impact on migration. Expenditures on education and health have bigger influence on internal migration than others regional government spending
