This paper is devoted to the use of statistical methodology in monitoring children's participation in decision-making on their behalf. Child participation is seen as one of the basic principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. For the first time in Russia's social practice, an approach to an objective analysis of the observance of the right of children to participate in decision-making, based on a system of quantitative and qualitative indicators. The article deals with an approach to the organization of monitoring children's rights to participation, including a review of the sources of information and metrics and indicators to assess. Authors propose an integrated index that allows comparison of regional situation analysis.
