Агональность и конфликт: сравнительный анализ дискурсивных характеристик
The article explores the issue of distinguishing concepts such as "agonality" and "conflict" in political communication based on the protocols of debates in the British Parliament. A review of the literature on the topic revealed three approaches to the definition of agonality and conflict, which led to the formulation of a complex theoretical model for analyzing empiric material. The lines in the debate protocols, selected by random sampling, were correlated with the agonal or conflict type of speech interaction through the developed model which includes methods of pragmatic, contextual and discourse analysis. The classified cues were subjected to linguistic analysis in order to identify linguistic (grammatical and lexical) markers of agonal and conflict interaction. The quantitative calculations that completed the analysis of the linguistic material showed the difference in the use of such discourse markers as modal verbs, deictic markers "we-they" in agonal and conflict types of speech interaction. The results of the study showed that agonal and conflict speech interaction are interrelated, while having different cognitive and pragmatic grounds, which is also reflected at the linguistic level.
