Регионы в условиях конституционно-политического кризиса 1992-1993 гг.: историографический обзор
The study aims to examine the views of Russian researchers on socio-political processes at the regional level during the constitutional-political crisis of 1992-1993. The article discusses scholars' works on the problem of political confrontation in 1992-1993, when the subjects of the Russian Federation became one of the parties to this process. As the confrontation between the authorities in Moscow was escalating, disintegration and centrifugal processes in the regions of Russia intensified. This aspect has become leading in the analysis of scientific works. The study is novel in that it is the first one to systematize the accumulated knowledge about the participation of regions in the constitutional-political crisis of 1992-1993 covering over thirty years of research in this area. As a result, the author concludes that there is a need to conduct further in-depth study of socio-political processes in the subjects of the Russian Federation and to consider the territorial-political structure of Russia in the framework of the formation of “new federalism” during this period.
