Зубовско-Воздвиженской группы погребений Прикубанья сарматской эпохи
The article examines the formation and development of scholarly concepts regarding the sites grouped under the term Zubovsky-Vozdvizhenskaya Group. Based on an overview of research from the late 19th century to the present, it traces the evolution of approaches to the interpretation of archaeological material, refl ecting shifts in methodological frameworks and research priorities. Particular attention is given to the identifi cation of the group as an independent
cultural and historical phenomenon, its chronology, the issue of correlating archaeological data with ethnic communities known from written sources, as well as its origins. The conclusion outlines the main directions for further research and highlights the ongoing debates surrounding the study of the Zubovsky-Vozdvizhenskaya Group in the Kuban region during the Sarmatian period.
