Цифровая публичная дипломатия в эпоху социальных медиа: эволюция и современное состояние

This article analyzes the concept of digital public diplomacy, focuses on the importance of social media in the context of international relations. The study presents the results of an analysis of the definitions of the features of “digital public diplomacy” in the works of Russian and foreign scientists. The authors describe the evolution of digital public diplomacy from Web 1.0 to Web 3.0, identifying key trends and problems of its development. The article substantiates the thesis that despite the relatively short history of digital public diplomacy, this phenomenon has already undergone several significant changes under the influence of the transformation of communication and media technologies, mainly the Internet. At the same time, the practical importance of digital public diplomacy remains unchanged
and is expressed in the ability of states to adapt to the modern challenges of the international arena.
