Развитие языковых компетенций в рамках образовательной системы "Ключи к полилингвальному, межкультурному и креативному образованию"
The article presents a theoretical and methodological framework for the development of students' systemic adaptation to the contemporary world. This framework is grounded in the results of 15 years of empirical research at the intersection of the fields of study in multilingualism, multiculturalism, and creativity. These results demonstrated that multilingual practice and multicultural experience are related to creative abilities. Hence, it appears to be plausible to integrate these developmental factors into pedagogical discourse.
The objective of this study is to formulate theoretical and methodological premises for the educational system “Plurilingual Intercultural Creative Keys” (PICK). This system aims at actualization of creative potential and development of linguistic and intercultural competences, which together facilitate students' systemic adaptation.
The article places a special emphasis on the development of multilingual competences, specifically on code-switching.
