Трансформация социально-экономических норм в обществе Западной Белоруссии, 1939-1941 гг.: попытка институционального анализа
The research focuses on the institutional analysis of a number of economic and social changes in the society of Western Belarus, introduced by the policy of Sovietization and, in particular, the practice of sending Soviet employees to new Western regions. Based on the regional and central Soviet archives, as well as the existing historiography of the social history of Stalinism, the article shows that the intensive "export" of Soviet institutions to new Western regions in 1939-1941 radically transformed the social environment in this region. As a result, by 1941 The creation of the Soviet institutional environment in the western frontier was actually completed. Much of this happened thanks to the "Easterners", who not only built social institutions on the annexed territory, but also brought to them a characteristic Soviet "content".
