Ценности трудовых платформ: экономико-социологический аспект
This article explores the values of freelance digital employment platforms to understand why citizens are interested in these platforms. Based on a literature review about digital employment platforms, we attempt to conceptualize the values and create a list of them. According to the generated list of values, we hypothesize that freelance platforms form values for their users, but for different groups of users these values are different. To test the hypotheses, the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration of the Institute of State and Municipal Administration of the HSE University conducted an international online survey from December 6 to December 26, 2021. Using stream sampling the survey covered 3,244 respondents from more than 40 freelance platforms, such as Mturk, Clickworker, Microworker, Toloka, etc. Based on the frequency, single-factor variance and regression analysis of the survey results, we found that different groups of freelance platform users form groups of values, which are differently perceived by the participants of platform interactions and depend on several factors, including additional platform experience, platform choice motivation, availability of other paid work, which indicates the confirmation of the hypotheses.
