Преодоление стрессовых ситуаций наркозависимыми подростками: практические рекомендации психологам и педагогам
Drug use, like many unhealthy behaviors, usually begins during adolescence but is influenced by many factors (both protective and risk factors). Risk factors include some personal and behavioral characteristics of a teenager, so their study is an important area of scientific research. The psychological and pedagogical aspect of the problem seems no less important; in particular, within the framework of this article, practical recommendations have been developed for teachers and psychologists in working with drug-addicted teenagers in stressful situations. The practical recommendations are based on the results of an empirical study of behavioral strategies for coping with stress by drug-addicted adolescents. A total of 48 adolescents aged 14 to 17 years took part in the study (of which 16 adolescents with drug addiction and 32 adolescents who did not have high scores on any scale when tested for addiction). The study of behavioral strategies was carried out using the “Diagnostics of Strategies for Coping with Stressful Situations” technique (S. Hobfoll), which allows us to determine the degree of expression of nine models of coping behavior and the general index of constructive behavior in stressful situations. Based on the results of the study, we can conclude that adolescents with drug addiction in stressful situations are significantly more likely to choose behavioral strategies such as impulsive actions, avoidance and antisocial actions in stressful situations compared to their peers without signs of addiction; their average group index of constructive behavior is low.
