The Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences continues its series of collective works that examine the issues of mutual perception and cultural contacts between Russia and the external world. This release is dedicated to Alexander Vladimirovich Golubev (1954–2021), the creator and long-time head of the round table "Russia – External World." The ninth issue focuses on studying various types of representations and intercultural images formed during contacts between Russia and the external world, covering the chronological period from the 15th century to the second half of the 20th century.
