This study is devoted to the phenomenon of the participation of Greek scientists in the intellectual life of the Italian Renaissance from the end of the XIV to the beginning of the XVI century. The work examines the activities of educated Greeks as teachers, translators, copyists, editors and printers, and also analyzes their influence on the humanistic thought of the Renaissance. The book is intended for specialists in the culture of the Italian Renaissance, university lecturers, postgraduates, students as well as a wide range of readers interested in the history of the humanist movement.
