Sustainable urban development, among other things, is ensured by integrating spatial and transport planning. One of the stages of transport planning is the forecasting of transport demand, including movement for cultural and household purposes. In contrast to studies of the transport mobility of the population, there are only a few studies to establish the levels of generation for cultural, leisure and recreational purposes. The lack of systematic data on generation levels reduces the quality and accuracy of transportation projections. In this regard, research is needed to establish patterns of influence of the characteristics of the use of areas on the generation of correspondence to different objects of gravity, as well as their combinations. Of particular interest are the models for estimating the capacity of estimated transport areas by arrivals, which should take into account the purposes of movement, including cultural and household purposes. Studies on the estimation of levels of specific attraction of correspondences have been and are being conducted in many countries. In this regard, research on the establishment of specific levels of generation of movements for the cities of the Russian Federation is relevant. The article presents an approach to the classification of settlement-transport areas based on the specific level of arrivals for cultural and household purposes and the development of a model for estimating the number of movements with cultural and household purposes.
