Изучение песенной силлабики в работе Х. Паасонена: «О строе стиха мордовских народных песен» (перевод с немецкого языка, II часть)
We offer a German-to-Russian translation of the second part of Heikki Paasonen's article titled "Über den Versbau des mordwinischen Volksliedes" (On the Structure of Mordvin Folk Lyrics) published in 1910, in Finnisch-ugrischen Forschungen, vol. 10. The first part is published earlier, where Paasonen systematizes the metrical forms of Mordovian folk poetry and establishes their syllabic nature. In the second part, he provides comparative data on Russian and Ukrainian song folklore, and also reflects on the origin of Mordovian syllabics.
Some of Paasonen's conclusions are probabilistic in nature. But the results he obtained correlate to some extent with the ethnomusicological observations of recent years. This is evidenced by the works of E. Dorokhova and M. Kondratiev, the main theses of which are presented in this article. Heikki Paasonen's research will contribute to the further comparative study of Mordovian and East Slavic song folklore, including the study of the processes of interaction between Russian and Finno-Ugric folklore traditions. It is important to use, in addition to verbal, also the musical and stylistic component of comparative analysis.
