One of the trends in the development of the lexical system of the language in Internet communication is the creation of digital codes. Numbers can be used in combination with letters, or as a pure numeric combination. The practice of using digital combinations by network users from different countries determines the relevance of this study. The novelty of the work lies in the comparison and analysis of digital codes in English, Russian and Chinese. The peculiarity of digital codes is that their decoding is largely determined by extralinguistic factors. The purpose of our study is to analyze how to create a digital code using the example of English, Russian and Chinese languages. The material of our study was digital codes selected by the continuous sampling method, as well as works by Russian and foreign researchers. Moreover, comparison of trends in the development of the vocabulary of languages with a phonetic alphabet (English and Russian) and the Chinese language, which protects the hieroglyph as a vessel of figurative perception, within the framework of Internet communication is of interest for further research.
