The article is devoted to the changes in teaching Foreign language and the Second Foreign language in accordance with the requirements of the updated federal state educational standard of primary general education and the federal state educational standard of basic general education, measures of regional methodological support for teachers of foreign languages in getting acquainted with the peculiarities of planning the educational process in the context of the implementing the updated standards.
